This Morning

I rode my motor scooter to

Watkhaefa school this morning.

I rode past fields planted with

row crops beyond the monkey

wat.  We had rain the night

before and the sky was still

imbued with cool damp air.

To paraphrase Dr. Williams

and his plums:  I just wanted

to tell you: It was wonderful,

wonderful.
